CAMERA OBSCURA

The camera obscura project needs a high level of precision and accuracy in both the creation of the obscura and the capture of pictures using the obscura. Using a cardboard tube and tracing paper, I made my own obscura. The size of a camera obscura can range from little cardboard tubes to the size of a room. When capturing a photograph, the location of the obscura is critical. The image's lighting is crucial to its appearance. I concentrated on the work of Abe Morell and Vera Lutter, who built their own obscuras and utilised various editing techniques to take photos of iconic buildings.
